As a registered counsellor, and with understanding and compassion, having experienced grief and loss myself, I provide kind, safe, professional and emotional support. I am now seeing people at The Dapto Ribbonwood Centre. Phone and zoom consultations are also available, and home visits may also be arranged for the Wollongong area.
So, if you or someone you know is struggling with grief and would like support, please donβt hesitate to reach out. I am here to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and hope.
Specialties
I specialise in providing bereavement counselling for individuals coping with the loss of a loved one, whether it be due to death, divorce, or separation, as well as working with clients who are grieving various types of losses, including the loss of a job, perhaps health or a pet. Additionally, I offer support for anticipatory grief and complicated grief reactions.
Approach
My approach to bereavement counselling is client-centred and holistic, honouring the unique experiences and needs of each individual. I integrate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), mindfulness practices, and grief education. By creating a supportive and validating environment, I empower clients to navigate their grief journey at their own pace, while offering practical coping strategies and emotional validation along the way.
